Congleton Constituency Labour Party

The Congleton Constituency Labour Party is a group of Labour Party activists who are committed to a society ‘for the many, not the few‘, to representing the Congleton Constituency and bringing change to communities across Cheshire East.

We cover the beautiful Congleton Constituency which is part of the Cheshire East unitary authority. The constituency includes five towns – Alsager, Congleton, Holmes Chapel, Middlewich and Sandbach – and numerous rural villages in between.

Although the constituency has a long history of returning Conservative MPs to Westminster – we are committed bringing change locally to our communities, holding Fiona Bruce MP & the Tories at Cheshire East Council to account and to offering at each election, an alternative that the people of the Congleton Constituency deserve.

But the tide is turning – party membership is at its highest level in years, we are more active then we have ever been and are seeing more electoral success at each subsequent election. The most recent General Election result in Congleton on 8th June 2017 saw our best result in the constituency ever with over 19,000 votes! We are offering a real challenge and alternative to failed Tory-rule in Congleton and across Cheshire East.

You can find out more about us and the issues we are working on by visiting our branch pages in the menu above.
